I think the fabric choices ended up taking longer than the actual sewing! I am pretty happy with the result.
I have also finished the quilt top I was making for my youngest son. I have used a jelly roll by Minnick and Simpson, the border fabric is the same range.
I have another quilt top on the Longarm which I have to finish quilting before I can quilt this one. I am still loving doing the applique on the Whig Rose but nothing new or thrilling to show yet.
Better get up and start my day, taking my daughter for her last visit to the Orthodontist today, pretty exciting for her.
Happy stitching,
Rowena
Oh wow! Your Love Entwined is wonderful! I have thought about joining in, but think it might be too much of a commitment for me right now. Good luck with yours!
ReplyDeleteI love your compass, now on to those tiny circles. I finished mine yesterday and though I am not entirely pleased with my fabric choices I certainly do not want to make another!
ReplyDeletevery nice - love your compass.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors you've chosen for the LE quilt...nice that they sort of blend with the larger prints! I am still trying to decide what I will use...possibly wool!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful compass block. Love your colours. Now you have to applique all the small circles, and so do I :)
ReplyDeleteLove the start you have made to this amazing quilt and I will be following its progress. Take care.
